Quality Control &
Production Workflow
From initial concept to final delivery, Lejing Garment enforces strict quality standards at every stage. Our comprehensive QC process ensures your activewear meets global standards like Oeko-Tex and GRS.
Sample Development Process
Ensuring your vision is perfectly translated into the final product before bulk production begins.
Client Consultation
Detailed communication to understand specific design requirements, fabrics, and functionality needs.
Pattern & Quotation
Creating the paper pattern based on the tech pack and providing a detailed cost estimation.
Initial Sampling
Production of the first prototype sample according to client specifications and selected materials.
Technical QC
Sample makers measure the garment against the size chart to ensure dimensional accuracy before release.
Merchandiser Review
Secondary inspection by the merchandiser to verify details, aesthetics, and overall quality before shipping.
Revision & Approval
Samples are revised based on client feedback until the final pre-production sample is approved.
Bulk Production Workflow
A rigorous 7-stage process designed to maintain consistency and quality across high-volume orders.
1. Fabric Procurement
STEP 01Sourcing high-quality materials from certified suppliers (Oeko-Tex, GRS) based on approved samples.
2. Fabric Relaxation
STEP 02Unrolling and resting fabric for at least 24 hours to prevent shrinkage and distortion during cutting.
3. Comprehensive Fabric Inspection
We adhere to a strict 4-point inspection system. Defective rolls are returned immediately.
Click sections below to view detailed inspection standards:
Physical Property Tests
- • Weight (GSM): Minimum 4 rolls checked per dye lot. Tolerance is ±10g (e.g., 190g fabric must be 180g-200g).
- • Elasticity: Stretch and recovery must meet the specified minimum standards for the fabric type.
- • Bursting Strength: Fabric is tested for durability; if it breaks under standard pressure, it is rejected.
- • Static Electricity: Checked to ensure fabric layers do not adhere excessively due to static.
Color & Wash Standards
- • Color Fastness: Wash test (100ml water @ 43°C + 1g detergent for 30 mins). Checked for bleeding or fading.
- • Color Shading (CSV): Left-Center-Right and End-to-End comparison. Sensitive colors (Dark Grey, Navy, etc.) undergo rigorous multi-roll testing.
- • Batch Consistency: Swatches from different parts of the roll are compared. Any visible variation results in rejection.
- • Color Matching: Comparison against the approved original sample. Significant deviations are rejected.
Visual & Structural Defects
- ✕ Odor: Any chemical or strange smell triggers rejection.
- ✕ Slack/Tight Edges: Caused by poor setting; rejected if severe.
- ✕ Crow's Feet/Stripes: Edge marks >10-20cm width variation are rejected.
- ✕ Open Width Lines: Visible center fold lines are rejected.
- ✕ Snags/Missing Yarn: Any structural holes or runs.
- ✕ Skewing/Bowing: Weft/Warp alignment deviation >2cm is rejected.
- ✕ Stains/Spots: >2 spots per layer or >10 per roll = Batch Rejection.
- ✕ Print Defects: Ghosting, missing print, or white spots.
- ✕ Marking: All defects are tagged immediately to prevent use.
In addition to pre-production inspection, our QC team performs random workshop patrols to ensure fabric quality is maintained during handling.
4. Cutting & Pattern Review
Verification of size quantity and color batching. Patterns are checked against fabric width to minimize waste and avoid color shading parts.
5. In-Line Production QC
Continuous random inspection during the sewing process. QC inspectors check stitch tension, seam strength, and assembly accuracy on the line.
6. Finishing & Initial QC
Post-production checks after ironing and trimming. We inspect for loose threads, skipped stitches, broken lines, and sizing accuracy.
7. Final Inspection & Packing
Final audit based on AQL standards or 100% inspection (per client request). Packaging is verified for labeling, folding, and carton quality.
* Note: Specific inspection steps may be adjusted based on individual client requirements and budget to ensure cost-efficiency without compromising essential quality.
